I always considered doing murals. Because I work with small brushes and lots of detail it is natural to suppose that my work it is fit for small paintings rather than big panels.
But my close-up, detailed work in fact thrives when allowed to expand into a big surface. Through the close up observation of objects and the environment that surrounds them the large format painting gives me the feeling of entering the space I am creating allowing me to express the sensation of being inside it and perhaps in a different time period.
The Narrative art form is also very present in my murals. Because this type of art is usually meant for a public space I am specially interested in representing historic events through images.
