Electronic Art

Regarding Electronic Art I find it important to produce an image that is at its very best as electronic art and not a copy of something else. Imitating oil, pencil or watercolor creates a risk of producing a second class or a wannabe of the something that it isn’t .

After much experimenting and reflexion on this new art form I have developed a technique where I create my images without using layers or special effects, just the application of color on a surface that has no visual texture, therefore forcing me to rely entirely on my own skills.

When an image is done I send it to be printed using the Gyclee method (a very high quality printing method that uses archival inks and silk bristol paper) . Each print is signed and numbered  and the editions are kept small. Once  the edition has been printed its original electronic archive gets deleted to ensure that no more prints are produced.
